The US Central Command announced that three of its soldiers were killed and others were wounded to varying degrees during a military operation targeting sites in Iran.
The command explained in an official statement published via the “X” platform that the operation resulted in the death of three soldiers, in addition to five others being seriously wounded.
The statement indicated that there were other injuries among the participating forces, as a number of other soldiers suffered minor injuries ranging from shrapnel wounds to concussions, as a result of the military operations.
Regarding the progress of field operations, the US Central Command confirmed in its statement that major combat operations are still ongoing at the present time.
The command concluded its announcement by noting that efforts to respond to and deal with the situation on the ground are ongoing, without mentioning further details about the specific locations or the timing of the end of the operation.
