At the close of a thrilling and fiercely competitive season, the Saudi Esports Federation concluded the 2025 Saudi Esports League, with Twisted Minds crowned champions of the Cross Game Clubs Championship after an exceptional performance throughout the season. The grand finals were held at the SEF Arena in Riyadh, which became a stage for the dreams and aspirations of hundreds of players and thousands of fans who attended the event.
Strategic context: Esports at the heart of the Kingdom's Vision 2030
This event is the culmination of Saudi Arabia’s significant efforts to establish itself as a global hub for gaming and esports, a key objective within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Gaming and Esports. The Saudi Esports Federation, the organizing body, is working to build a comprehensive system that supports local talent, attracts investment, and organizes tournaments to international standards. The Saudi Esports League is the premier platform that allows Saudi players and clubs to compete at the highest levels, hone their skills, and achieve global recognition.
Tournament details and an exciting finale
This year's league saw unprecedented participation, with over 390 players representing 35 clubs competing, reflecting the tremendous growth in the professional player base and the sector's popularity. After fierce competition, Twisted Minds emerged victorious, topping the overall standings with 2,943 points and claiming the grand prize of 210,000 Saudi Riyals from the tournament's total prize pool of one million Riyals.
Team Falcons finished as runners-up with 1,877 points, winning a prize of 180,000 riyals. The surprise of the season was Team Stallions, who delivered a remarkable performance and secured third place with 1,786 points, winning 160,000 riyals. The remaining top positions were ranked as follows:
- Fourth place: AlQadsiah Esports team – 130,000 riyals
- Fifth place: The Vicious Esports team – 110,000 riyals
- Sixth place: Team Bright Future – 90,000 riyals
- Seventh place: Team ZNTRX – 70,000 riyals
- Eighth place: Team Vision – 50,000 riyals
Increasing regional and global influence
The tournament's success wasn't limited to the attendance of over 4,000 spectators at SEF Arena; its impact extended to the global digital sphere. The live stream of the tournament garnered over 9 million views and generated more than 200 million impressions across social media platforms. These figures not only underscore the immense passion for esports within the Kingdom but also demonstrate Saudi Arabia's ability to organize world-class events that attract international audiences, further solidifying its position as a major player in the global esports landscape.
