In a strategic move reflecting the accelerating pace of digital transformation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Tuwaiq Association for Human Resources Development announced a qualitative achievement in the national development journey, represented by qualifying and supplying 2,655 national cadres of young men and women to the labor market during the years 2024 and 2025. This achievement comes through an integrated package of intensive training programs that targeted vital and precise fields, most notably artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data science.
Keeping pace with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030
This achievement cannot be viewed in isolation from the broader context of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the "Human Capability Development" program. The Kingdom is striving to transform from an oil-based economy to one driven by knowledge and innovation. Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity are central to this transformation, making the Tuwaiq Association's initiative a crucial contributor to bridging the gap between educational outcomes and the actual needs of the private sector, particularly in the Eastern Province, the Kingdom's industrial and energy hub.
Specialized specializations that meet the evolving needs of the market
The training programs implemented by the association covered highly sought-after specializations both globally and locally. In addition to advanced technologies, the training encompassed occupational health and safety, human resources, and information technology. The focus on cybersecurity comes at a time of increasing need to protect the Kingdom's digital infrastructure, while data science supports strategic decision-making in major companies. This diversity of specializations ensures the comprehensiveness of the training and its alignment with Saudization requirements for highly skilled professions.
Graduation of the third batch and women's empowerment
Coinciding with this announcement, the association celebrated the graduation of its third cohort for 2025, which included 20 female trainees specializing in human resources. This number reflects the association's commitment to empowering Saudi women and increasing their participation in economic development. The graduates were trained according to the latest global professional methodologies and practices, making them an immediate asset to any organization they join.
Leadership support and strategic partnerships
Commenting on this initiative, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Khalid Al-Obaid, affirmed that these achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering support of His Royal Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province and His Royal Highness the Deputy Prince. Al-Obaid pointed out that the Association's strategy is based on sustainable investment in human capital, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development aimed at localizing specialized professions and empowering national talent to lead the economic landscape.
“Tuwaiq” continues its ambitious plans to expand the scope of its strategic partnerships, to ensure the sustainability of the flow of qualified national talents capable of competing not only locally, but also regionally, in light of the growing demand for technical talents in the Middle East region.
