Shares of 180 companies rose at the close of trading, while 78 declined, out of the 268 companies listed on the main market. The top gainers were Al Babtain, Jazan Energy and Development Company (JAZADCO), Al Rajhi Takaful, Abu Moati, and Saco, while the biggest losers were Petro Rabigh, Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (Sipchem), Advanced Petrochemical Company, and Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab).
