1. Be active. Regular physical activity helps control weight, lower blood pressure, and improve blood sugar control.
2. Follow a healthy diet and reduce your total salt intake to no more than 5 grams per day.
3. Monitor your blood sugar regularly, and if you have diabetes, ensure it stays within your target range.
4. Manage your blood pressure, as uncontrolled high blood pressure increases the risk of kidney damage.
5. Stay hydrated . Drinking enough fluids according to your daily needs and health condition is important.

6. Quit smoking , as smoking impairs overall blood flow and increases the risk of kidney damage.
