He explained that holidays in Islam have a sublime advantage, as they are connected to the pure worship of God. The holiday only comes after the lovers have devoted themselves to the worship of their Lord, so their holiday comes as a completion of worship, a conclusion to work, and good tidings of a good end.
He emphasized that the holiday brings joy to people's hearts, and that the holiday means happiness, pleasure, and delight at the end of the season of obedience, during which worshippers competed in various forms of good deeds.
During the Eid, worship and adornment are combined in all actions, as the completion of the blessing of fasting inspires joy and gratitude, and their sign is the display of adornment and worship.
He said that the people who are most happy and most blessed with the joy of the holiday are those who receive it with a sound heart towards their relatives, brothers, acquaintances, and neighbors, and the splendor and magnificence of the holiday are not complete except with that.
