Find out the registration dates for the 2026 achievement test for female students in Saudi Arabia. The Education Evaluation Commission announces the schedule for the Eastern Province, Jazan, Riyadh, and all other regions to secure your place.

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) has officially announced the detailed timeline for the start of registration for the 2026 Achievement Test (academic achievement test) for female students across all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ETEC explained that the registration process will begin gradually and systematically starting tomorrow, Monday, March 2, 2026, to ensure the smooth flow of technical procedures and reduce pressure on registration servers, thus providing applicants with a seamless and efficient user experience.

The importance of achievement tests in the educational system

The academic achievement test plays a pivotal role in a student's educational journey, serving as a key criterion for admission to Saudi universities and colleges. This test aims to measure a student's proficiency in several core subjects (biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics) during secondary school. Its importance lies in providing a standardized and fair evaluation of all applicants from different secondary schools, thus promoting the principle of equal opportunity in higher education.

At the national level, this test contributes to raising the quality of university admissions, which positively impacts educational outcomes and the labor market, thus achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in developing human capital. Saudi universities rely heavily on the results of this test within what is known as the "weighted percentage," which combines the high school GPA with scores on the General Aptitude Test and the Achievement Test to determine eligibility for admission to various disciplines, particularly scientific, health, and engineering fields.

Scheduling the stages of achievement test registration according to regions

According to the approved schedule published by the authority, registration periods have been divided across all regions of the Kingdom on consecutive days to facilitate the flow of online registration. The first phase for female students in the Riyadh region begins on March 2, followed by the Makkah region on March 3. On March 4, registration opens for female students in the Madinah, Asir, and Qassim regions.

For female students in the Eastern Province and Jazan, Thursday, March 5th, has been designated as the start date for their registration, a fact eagerly awaited by many students in these vital regions. The phased registration process will conclude on March 6th, encompassing female students in the Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jawf, Najran, Northern Borders, and Al-Baha regions.

Deadlines and testing periods

The authority has set the deadline for registration for the first period as Thursday, May 14, 2026, while registration for the second period will continue until Saturday, June 6, 2026. As for the dates of the actual exams, the first period is scheduled to take place from May 13 to 17, 2026, and the second period from June 5 to 9, 2026.

The authority called on all female students to adhere to the dates specified for each region and to register early through the National Center for Measurement website, to ensure the selection of the most suitable location and preferred date for taking the test, and to avoid any technical congestion that may occur at the last minute.
