In a move reflecting the integration between major national projects and community institutions, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association announced its active participation in the “Let’s Play Together” initiative launched by Qiddiya Investment Company. This partnership aims to combine purposeful entertainment with the values of volunteer work and community service through a program of scheduled field trips for scout units to the Qiddiya project, the Kingdom’s future capital of entertainment, sports, and culture.
General context: Vision 2030 combines scouting and Qiddiya
This initiative aligns with the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes improving the quality of life for citizens and residents and empowering youth. The Qiddiya project, one of the Public Investment Fund's mega-projects, aims not only to build a world-class entertainment destination but also to achieve a sustainable social and economic impact. Furthermore, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, officially established in 1961 (1381 AH), has a long history of developing young people physically, culturally, and socially, and instilling in them the values of good citizenship and the spirit of volunteerism. The Scouts' annual participation in serving pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah is a prime example of their established community role.

The “Let’s Play Together” initiative strategically focuses on scouting units located within the geographical area surrounding the Qiddiya project, specifically in Riyadh and the governorates of Al-Muzahmiya and Dhurma. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection of local communities to national projects being implemented in their areas and to provide young people with the opportunity to witness firsthand the scale of development taking place in the Kingdom.
