The Saudi Professional League (SPL) saw a total attendance of 1,716,723 fans by the end of the 24th round of matches. Al-Ahli topped the list of clubs with the highest attendance, followed closely by their rivals Al-Ittihad. Six clubs also surpassed the 100,000-fan mark, a statistic reflecting the high level of interest in the competition this season.
Al-Ahli topped the attendance rankings with a total of 296,805 fans, surpassing their city rivals Al-Ittihad, who came in second with 293,175. The narrow margin between the two clubs highlights the continued intense rivalry among fans in Jeddah, as both clubs accounted for a significant portion of the league's overall attendance.
In the capital, Riyadh, Al-Hilal came in third place with a total attendance of 236,135 fans, followed by Al-Nassr in fourth place with 205,616 fans. These figures confirm the continued dominance of the top four clubs, as they accounted for the largest share of both ticket sales and actual stadium attendance.
The list also saw a notable presence from Al-Fateh Club, which came in fifth place with 107,265 fans, surpassing Al-Qadisiyah Club, which came in sixth with 104,519 fans. Al-Fateh and Al-Qadisiyah are the only two clubs outside the top four to have broken the 100,000 fan barrier up to the 24th round.
In the middle of the attendance rankings, Damac FC came in seventh with 60,130 fans, followed by Al-Taawoun in eighth with 56,694. Al-Ettifaq came in ninth with 53,838 fans, while Neom FC completed the top ten with 46,387 fans, and Al-Shabab came in eleventh with 45,904.
The list included Al-Kholoud Club with 43,555 fans, followed by Al-Najma Club with 36,041 fans. Relatively lower on the list were Al-Khaleej Club with 31,893 fans, followed by Al-Akhdoud Club with 30,511 fans, and then Al-Hazm Club with 29,571 fans attending its matches.
Al-Riyadh and Al-Fayha occupied the bottom two spots, with Al-Riyadh recording 25,127 fans and Al-Fayha in last place with a total of 14,214. These figures represent the official attendance statistics for matches played at the home stadiums of the respective teams so far.
The figures indicate that total attendance could exceed two million fans with six rounds remaining in the season. This anticipated increase is linked to the crucial remaining matches in the league schedule, which will determine the champion, the qualifying spots for continental competitions, and the relegation battle.
