The 82nd Saudi relief plane arrived at Al-Arish International Airport carrying food baskets to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, in coordination with the King Salman Relief Center and the Ministry of Defense.

The 82nd Saudi relief plane arrived today at El Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as part of the air bridge operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The latest aircraft carried shipments of food aid urgently destined for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

This aid comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support those affected in the Gaza Strip. The 82-unit cargo plane carried various food baskets. The cargo is currently being unloaded at the Egyptian airport, in preparation for its transfer via land convoys designated for delivering aid into the Gaza Strip and distributing it to those in need.

The relief airlift is operated through a comprehensive coordination system involving several Saudi entities. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center directly oversees the preparation and dispatch of relief supplies. These operations are carried out in close cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Defense, which handles air transport, and in continuous coordination with the Kingdom's embassy in Cairo to facilitate all logistical procedures upon the aircraft's arrival in Egypt.

These successive shipments aim to alleviate the humanitarian suffering and difficult living conditions currently faced by the residents of the Gaza Strip. Saudi support via this air bridge focuses on securing basic needs, primarily food, to help address the shortages of essential supplies within the Strip and support food security for the affected population.

The arrival of the eighty-second plane represents a continuation of the Saudi relief flow that has not stopped, as field teams and competent authorities are working to ensure that this aid reaches those who deserve it as quickly as possible, confirming the Kingdom’s humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinian people and standing by them to overcome the current humanitarian crisis.
