Official authorities have announced the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, for the sixth edition of the National Charity Campaign. The campaign is scheduled to launch on the national charity platform “Ihsan” on Friday evening, the 3rd of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to February 20, 2026.
This royal approval confirms the great attention that the wise leadership, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect them - pays to the charitable work sector in the Kingdom, and its constant keenness to maximize its positive impact and expand its scope to include all deserving segments of society.
Ihsan Platform: A Saudi Pioneer in Digital Charitable Work
The National Campaign for Charitable Work is an extension of the significant successes achieved by the “Ihsan” platform since its establishment by royal decree. Launched as an initiative of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the platform aims to regulate and facilitate charitable work, and enhance transparency and reliability in this vital sector. It serves as a secure and reliable digital link between individual and institutional donors on one hand, and those in need and charitable organizations across the Kingdom on the other.
The platform's objectives align directly with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the non-profit sector's contribution to the GDP and promote the values of social solidarity and corporate social responsibility. Over the past years, the platform has successfully built bridges of trust with the community, with total donations through it exceeding billions of riyals, which have been directed towards supporting thousands of cases in diverse fields including healthcare, education, housing, and relief efforts, among others.
The importance of the campaign and its expected impact
The campaign gains its significance from its timing, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, a month of charity and benevolence during which Muslims compete in giving alms and performing good deeds. The sixth campaign, like its predecessors, is expected to witness broad community engagement from citizens, residents, and the private sector, reflecting the deeply rooted Islamic values and authentic Arab traditions that characterize Saudi society.
Locally, the campaign contributes to strengthening national unity and reinforcing solidarity among community members, while providing essential support to the most vulnerable families, thus contributing to social stability and improving quality of life. Regionally and internationally, the success of this digital institutional model for charitable work presents a pioneering Saudi experience that can be emulated, reflecting the Kingdom's progressive image as an active player in the fields of humanitarian and charitable work.
Invitation to participate in the month of goodness
On this occasion, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Ehsan platform, expressed his deepest gratitude to the wise leadership for its continuous support, which has been instrumental in the successes achieved. He emphasized that the campaign opens doors of opportunity for everyone to contribute to supporting charitable projects and opportunities available through the platform, ensuring that donations reach their beneficiaries with the highest levels of reliability and efficiency as quickly as possible. Donors can participate through the platform's application and website (Ehsan.sa) or by calling the unified number 8001247000.
