The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince have directed the intensification of aid efforts to Gaza. Learn more about Saudi aid through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the extent of support provided to the Palestinian people.

In an urgent humanitarian response reflecting the depth of fraternal ties, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister – may God protect them – have issued directives to intensify air, sea, and land relief efforts to support the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. This directive comes to bolster the efforts of the Saudi popular campaign launched to provide relief to those affected by the tragic situation in the Strip.

His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, explained that this intensified Saudi effort represents a continuation of the Kingdom's historical role in standing by Palestine during various crises. Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that Palestine remains a deeply rooted cause in the conscience of the Saudi leadership and people, noting that Saudi generosity is a consistent approach and an inherent value that is not affected by circumstances, but rather grows stronger during times of hardship.

Facts and figures on the scale of Saudi aid,
presented in numerical terms that reflect the magnitude of the disaster and the response, show that the Kingdom, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, successfully established massive relief airlifts. To date, 77 relief aircraft and 8 giant ships have delivered over 7,699 tons of essential food, medical, and shelter supplies. Not content with this, the Kingdom also dispatched land convoys of 912 relief trucks that crossed border crossings to reach those in need, carrying medical equipment and vital supplies. In addition, 20 fully equipped ambulances were delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to bolster the dilapidated healthcare system in the Gaza Strip.

context
of the Saudi position on the Palestinian issue. Since the era of its founder, King Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been the foremost supporter of the Palestinian people politically, financially, and in terms of humanitarian aid. This assistance underscores that Saudi support is not merely a knee-jerk reaction, but rather a strategic, national, and religious commitment. The Kingdom has dedicated its diplomacy and resources to ensuring that the Palestinian people are not isolated or left to face their fate alone under the suffocating siege.

International partnerships to break the siege:
In an effort to overcome logistical obstacles and closed crossings, the Kingdom did not limit itself to traditional methods but devised innovative solutions to ensure the delivery of aid. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed agreements with international and UN organizations to implement projects within Gaza worth over $90.35 million. Furthermore, the Kingdom conducted specialized airdrops of food aid in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces, a move aimed at breaking the siege and delivering food to areas difficult to reach by land. This reflects the Saudi leadership's determination to use all available means to save lives and alleviate unprecedented human suffering.
