Saudi-Spanish and Turkish talks
His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs began his diplomatic activities by receiving a telephone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Álvarez. Discussions during the call focused on the rapidly evolving regional and international landscape. This call comes at a time of high-level coordination between Saudi Arabia and Spain regarding just causes and peace efforts, with both sides exchanging views on efforts to contain current tensions.
In a related development, Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a telephone call from the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan. During the call, they discussed at length the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on issues of common interest, reflecting the depth of political coordination between Riyadh and Ankara in addressing regional challenges.
Joint Arab coordination to enhance security
On the Arab level, and in confirmation of the bonds of brotherhood and shared destiny, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs received a telephone call from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Fuad Hussein. The call not only discussed the latest regional developments and the efforts being made regarding them, but also included a review of the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.
His Highness also received a call from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi. The call addressed current regional developments, focusing on joint efforts to achieve security and stability in the region and to unify Arab positions on critical issues.
