Chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Cabinet congratulated the nation on the arrival of Ramadan, reviewing the efforts to serve the guests of God and emphasizing the firm stance on the Palestinian issue and important international resolutions.

Congratulations on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan and reaffirmation of our commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques

In its session held in Riyadh, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, the Saudi Cabinet began its proceedings by extending its congratulations to the citizens and Muslims worldwide on the approaching holy month of Ramadan. The Cabinet expressed its gratitude and praise to God Almighty for the honor bestowed upon the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of serving the Two Holy Mosques and caring for their visitors, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, and other visitors—a historic and pivotal role that the Kingdom undertakes with pride and honor.

In this context, the Council praised the continued successes in managing the Hajj and Umrah seasons, which come within the framework of the “Guests of God Service Program”, one of the most important programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The program aims to enrich and deepen the experience of pilgrims and Umrah performers, through the development of infrastructure and digital services and facilitating procedures, which has been reflected in receiving millions of guests of God, and the continuous endeavor to achieve the ambitious goals of the vision by increasing the capacity and providing the highest levels of service.

Founding Day: A celebration of historical roots and a launch towards the future

The Cabinet addressed the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day, celebrated annually on February 22nd, affirming that this anniversary embodies pride in the deep historical roots of the Saudi state, which extend back three centuries since the founding of the first Saudi state by Imam Muhammad bin Saud. The Cabinet explained that commemorating this occasion expresses pride in the firm principles upon which the state was established: the establishment of justice, the achievement of unity and cohesion, and the continuous development that has made the Kingdom today a leading and influential nation on the international stage in various fields.

The Kingdom's firm stance on the Palestinian issue

Internationally, the Cabinet reiterated the Kingdom’s unequivocal condemnation of the Israeli occupation authorities’ decision to designate lands in the West Bank as “state property.” The Cabinet affirmed that these unilateral and illegal measures constitute a flagrant violation of international resolutions and undermine peace efforts. The Cabinet emphasized Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to establish their independent and sovereign state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international resolutions.

Strengthening international cooperation and localizing military industries

The Council reviewed the discussions held between the Kingdom and various countries around the world in recent days, aimed at strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation. The Council also commended the resounding success of the third edition of the World Defense Show in Riyadh, held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. It noted that the memoranda of understanding, agreements, and strategic partnerships signed during the exhibition will significantly contribute to localizing technologies and developing capabilities in the military industries sector, as well as enhancing local supply chains, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to diversify the national economy.

Strategic decisions to promote development and cooperation

The Council approved a number of important decisions and mandates, including authorizing ministers and heads of authorities to discuss and sign memoranda of understanding and cooperation with counterparts in sisterly and friendly countries such as Japan, Italy, Indonesia, Bahrain, Algeria, and China, in various fields including urban development, culture, justice, agriculture, media, digital government, and combating money laundering, reflecting the Kingdom’s keenness to build effective international partnerships that support its development journey.
