These meetings took place on the sidelines of the Kingdom's delegation's participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, a key global platform for shaping future economic and technological trends.
These moves are part of a comprehensive strategy aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 , which places digital transformation and innovation at the heart of its strategy to diversify the national economy and reduce dependence on oil. Minister Al-Sawah’s agenda included pivotal meetings focused on vital areas, including a meeting with Mr. Bill McDermott, Chairman and CEO of ServiceNow, to discuss ways to employ automation and corporate artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency of government and private digital services, thereby contributing to improving user experience and enabling productivity on a large scale.
In the area of telecommunications infrastructure, His Excellency discussed with Mr. Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia, opportunities to enhance partnership in advanced communications networks such as 5G and beyond. These networks are the backbone of smart cities and mega-projects like NEOM, enabling Internet of Things (IoT) applications and other emerging technologies.

Engineer Al-Swaha also met with Nick Aman, Vice President of Global Government Affairs at Apple, to discuss ways to strengthen their partnership in the field of technology policies that support innovation.
