The announcement included the launch of two main products offering economical and flexible solutions for passengers. The first is the semester pass for students, which allows them unlimited travel throughout the semester at a reduced, fixed price, making it easier for them to reach their schools and universities. The second product is the annual pass , available to all passenger categories, which provides an ideal option for employees and frequent commuters, guaranteeing them unlimited network usage throughout the year for a single payment, eliminating the need to purchase daily or weekly tickets.
King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project: A cornerstone of Vision 2030
This launch is part of the King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project in Riyadh, overseen by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City. This project is one of the world's largest urban transport projects, combining the Riyadh Metro network, which covers most of the city via six main lines, with the integrated Riyadh Bus Network. The project directly aims to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the Quality of Life Program, by providing a state-of-the-art infrastructure comparable to that of major global capitals.
