Comprehensive coverage of Prince Faisal bin Bandar’s sponsorship of the ninth mass wedding ceremony of the Insan Association, celebrating the marriage of 106 grooms as part of social empowerment and stable family building initiatives.

In a social gathering embodying the values of solidarity and cohesion within Saudi society, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, sponsored the ninth mass wedding ceremony organized by the Riyadh-based charity for orphans, "Insan," on Sunday evening. The ceremony, held under the theme "The Joy of a Groom 9," celebrated the marriage of 106 sons of the charity, amidst a notable attendance of officials and supporters of charitable work.

Ongoing care and social empowerment

This generous patronage from His Royal Highness the Prince of Riyadh stems from the great attention the wise leadership – may God support them – pays to orphans, and its constant commitment to providing them with all means of a dignified life. The “Insan” Association is a pioneering model of institutional charitable work in the Kingdom, having been established by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God protect him – when he was the Prince of Riyadh. This legacy of giving continues, transforming care work into sustainable development programs aimed at integrating orphans into society and empowering them to build independent and stable lives.

The ceremony began with the Royal Anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the Director General of the Association, Mohammed bin Saad Al-Muharib, who expressed his deepest gratitude to the wise leadership and to His Royal Highness the Prince of Riyadh for his unwavering support. He also acknowledged the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, in overseeing the Association's programs and ensuring the excellence of their outcomes.

A development project for building the family

In his speech, Al-Muharib emphasized that the group marriage initiative at “Insan” transcends being a mere celebration, representing a comprehensive development project aimed at achieving psychological and social stability for young people. He explained that the association has successfully contributed to the formation of over 3,000 new families over the years, reflecting the profound impact of such initiatives on the social fabric.

In this year’s statistics, the association celebrates the wedding of 282 young men and women. This ceremony was dedicated to 106 grooms, while the wedding of 176 of the association’s girls will be celebrated in a separate ceremony, confirming the comprehensive care for both genders.

Strategic partnerships and a promising future

The event included a video presentation titled “A Promise That Extends to Build Tomorrow,” showcasing success stories and the initiative’s impact on the lives of beneficiaries. In his address to the partners, Abdulaziz Al-Anzi, CEO of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowments, explained that the endowments’ support for this initiative stems from a firm belief that caring for orphans at crucial life junctures, such as marriage, is a genuine investment in building a cohesive society. He commended the association for the significant transformation it has achieved in moving orphans from a state of dependency to one of productivity and empowerment.

The ceremony concluded with the newlyweds sharing their joy through the Saudi Ardah dance, honoring the sponsors and supporters, and taking commemorative photos with His Highness the patron of the ceremony, in a scene that reflects the cohesion of the leadership with the members of society.
