The National Center for Meteorology forecasts in its weather thunderstorms remains high , leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail and strong winds that may stir up dust and sand in parts of the Eastern Province.
Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Riyadh, as well as parts of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders.
Fog formation is also possible during the night and early morning hours in parts of these regions, as well as in parts of Hail and Qassim.

Surface winds: Northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 10-24 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.
Wave height: from half a meter to one meter, reaching up to two meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.
Sea conditions: Light to moderate waves with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.
Arabian Gulf
Surface winds: Northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 10-25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
Wave height: from half a meter to one meter, reaching up to two meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
Rain in the Eastern Province
The National Center for Meteorology issued weather alert for light to moderate rain in the Eastern Province today, Friday .
The rain is expected to begin at 9:00 AM and continue until 7:00 PM .
The alert for light rain covers Al-Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, and Ras Tanura .
This rain will be accompanied by active winds, reduced horizontal visibility, high waves, and thunderstorms .
The alert for moderate rain covers Jubail, Khafji, Nairyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, and Hafr Al-Batin .
