Detailed figures and statistics for the month of Rajab
The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques announced that the total number of worshippers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque reached 25,074,929 during the month. This high volume was not limited to the five daily prayers but also included visits to the holy sites within the mosque, as detailed below:

- Peace be upon the Messenger and his two companions: (2,590,857) visitors had the honor of greeting the Chosen Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - and his two companions - may God be pleased with them - in an atmosphere of tranquility and spirituality.
An integrated service system for the comfort of visitors
Accommodating these millions of worshippers would not have been possible without a sophisticated operational and service system working around the clock. The authority confirmed its continued efforts to develop services within the mosque and its courtyards, which include:
- Providing luxurious carpets and air conditioning to ensure the comfort of worshippers.
- Providing blessed Zamzam water in all the corridors of the mosque and the outer courtyards.
- Highly efficient crowd management to ensure that there is no overcrowding in the corridors and main doors.
- Strengthening security and organizational aspects to provide a safe and reassuring environment for performing religious rites.
Religious status and strategic importance
The Prophet's Mosque holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims as the second holiest site in Islam, and prayer there is equivalent to a thousand prayers elsewhere, except for the Grand Mosque in Mecca. The number of visitors increases during the month of Rajab, one of the sacred months and a season preceding the blessed month of Ramadan, when Muslims from all over the world are keen to take advantage of these virtuous times for worship and pilgrimage.
These huge numbers reflect the success of the operational plans of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in accommodating the increasing numbers of pilgrims and visitors, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s ambitious vision, which aims to facilitate the hosting of millions of Muslims and provide them with the finest services, thus enhancing the Kingdom’s leading role in serving Islam and Muslims and developing the cities of Makkah and Madinah.
The relevant authorities continue to raise their operational readiness in preparation for the upcoming seasons, stressing their commitment to providing the best means to enable visitors to perform their rituals and worship with ease and convenience, under generous care and great attention to the smallest details that concern the visitor and resident.
