More than 31,000 people benefited from religious guidance services at the Prophet's Mosque in the first week of Ramadan
The General Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina announced that more than 31,000 visitors and worshippers benefited from the guidance and awareness services provided at the Prophet's Mosque during the first week of Ramadan. These efforts are part of the Presidency's operational plan aimed at enriching the experience of visitors, deepening their understanding of Islamic law, and providing a safe and tranquil environment for worship in the city of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
An integrated system for serving visitors
The General Administration for Answering Inquiries, affiliated with the Presidency, explained that its services included answering visitors' inquiries related to the rulings of Umrah, the etiquette of visiting the Prophet's Mosque, and various jurisprudential matters needed by worshippers and pilgrims. These services were provided through an integrated system operating around the clock, benefiting 31,004 visitors of various nationalities. The service is available in 11 major international languages through field service points located throughout the Prophet's Mosque, in addition to the toll-free number (8001111935) which allows visitors to communicate directly with qualified scholars and sheikhs. Modern technologies are also employed through interactive screens and smart applications to ensure that accurate information reaches the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
