Harvesting gold and digital leadership

This athletic excellence led the university to achieve first place in the Saudi Universities Performance Index for the fifteenth sports season (female students category), confirming the success of the strategic plans implemented to enhance athletic performance.
The superiority was not limited to the overall numbers, but also included dominating the podiums in specialized sports; the university won first place in the first Kingdom Women’s Championship for the youth category of Judo (78 kg and 57 kg weights), in addition to sweeping the top positions in the Saudi University Sports Federation championships in athletics, futsal, e-sports, and chess.
Context of national transformation and women's empowerment
These achievements come within the context of a historic transformation underway in Saudi Arabia as part of its Vision 2030 goals, specifically the Quality of Life Program, which aims to promote sports participation in society. Princess Nourah University, as the largest women's university in the world, plays a pivotal role in this movement by leveraging its state-of-the-art sports facilities to empower women in sports and provide a nurturing environment for talented athletes capable of competing locally and regionally.
This sporting movement within the university reflects a change in the healthy lifestyle of female students, as the newly introduced programs aim to expand the base of sports practices, not only for the sake of competition, but also to promote public health and build a vibrant community.
Sustaining excellence and the future of sports
The university continued its excellence in its sixteenth season, achieving first place in archery and athletics championships, second place in futsal, and third place in badminton. The sports department employs a scientific methodology to discover and develop talent, aiming to provide the Saudi national teams with qualified players capable of competing internationally, thus strengthening the presence of Saudi women's sports on the global stage.
In conclusion, these achievements are the result of the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs in activating community partnerships and organizing promotional tournaments, which contributes to establishing a culture of sports sustainability and making sports a daily lifestyle for female students.
