The Arabian Gulf Cup Federation has decided to postpone the match between Saudi Arabia’s Al-Shabab and Iraq’s Zakho in the semi-finals of the Gulf Champions League due to the current situation, and Al-Shabab is preparing for the Al-Ettifaq match.

Al Shabab FC announced via its official social media account that the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation has postponed the first team's match against Iraqi side Zakho FC. The club explained that the postponement was due to the current situation in the region.

The youth team was scheduled to host their Iraqi counterparts on Tuesday evening, as part of the semi-final round of the Gulf Champions League for Clubs, before it was officially announced that the match would not be held on its scheduled date.

In related news, Al-Shabab will begin their on-field preparations for their upcoming domestic match against Al-Ettifaq. This match is scheduled for Saturday evening as part of the 25th round of the Saudi Professional League, following the temporary suspension of their participation in the Gulf competitions.
