His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and General Supervisor of the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its global leadership in serving Islam and Muslims, relying on the unlimited support of the wise leadership - may God support it - which has harnessed all capabilities to care for the Book of God and spread the values ​​of tolerance.

This came during an inspection visit by His Excellency to the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah, where he reviewed the progress of work and ongoing development plans, accompanied by a number of senior ministry officials. This visit is part of the periodic monitoring of vital facilities that reflect the Kingdom's positive image in the Islamic world.

King Fahd Complex: A Global Beacon of Light

The King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran has held immense historical and strategic importance since its establishment, as it is the world's largest printing press dedicated to serving the Holy Quran. Its role extends beyond paper printing to include translating the meanings of the Quran into dozens of international languages, making it a cultural bridge connecting the Kingdom with Muslims worldwide. The Ministry is currently working to enhance this role by increasing production capacity and improving supply chains to ensure that copies of the Quran reach all corners of the globe with the highest quality and utmost accuracy.

In his remarks, His Excellency the Minister emphasized that the Ministry adopts a clear strategy aimed at disseminating the principles of moderation and centrism, the very foundation upon which the Kingdom was built. He explained that combating extremism and terrorism is not achieved solely through security measures, but also through intellectual engagement and the dissemination of sound Islamic scholarship that refutes the fallacies of extremism. He noted that the Ministry utilizes all its platforms, including mosques, religious centers, Quranic competitions, and international conferences, to promote intellectual security and protect youth from alien ideologies.

Keeping pace with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and digital transformation

Regarding keeping pace with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh explained that the Ministry and the King Fahd Complex are taking rapid steps towards digital transformation. Future plans include expanding electronic publishing, launching smart applications to serve researchers and readers, and automating work processes within the Complex to enhance operational efficiency.

His Excellency concluded his visit by meeting with the officials of the complex to discuss future projects, expressing his pride in the national staff working there who provide a professional model in serving the Book of God, stressing that these efforts enhance the soft power of the Kingdom and confirm its position as a destination for Muslims and a sponsor of world peace.
