This announcement was made during a specialized workshop entitled “Investment Opportunities and Regulatory Enablers in the Sectors of the System,” which aimed to attract private sector investments and stimulate high-quality projects that serve the region and its residents.

The workshop showcased a comprehensive package of opportunities covering a total area exceeding 10 million square meters, distributed across several governorates in the region. These opportunities included:
- 17 agricultural opportunities: These are concentrated in governorates with unique agricultural potential, such as Taif, Al-Lith, Al-Jumum, Khulais, and Al-Kamil. These projects aim to develop modern agriculture and support local products.
- 18 opportunities in the environmental field: These are directly related to the development of vegetation cover and combating desertification, and include the development of national parks and ecotourism destinations.
Among the most prominent sites offered for investment are Taif National Park and Jabal Al Qamar Park in Khulais Governorate, which are destinations that enjoy natural beauty and great tourism potential.
