As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the struggling health sector in Palestine, the volunteer medical team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center achieved a new medical milestone at the Arab National Hospital in the Gaza Strip. The team successfully performed 99 specialized general surgery procedures between December 5 and 27, 2025.
The medical campaign's efforts were not limited to surgical procedures; they also included providing comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services at the general surgery clinic, benefiting 402 patients from the Gaza Strip suffering from serious health conditions. This initiative comes in response to the urgent need for surgical interventions amidst the immense pressure on local hospitals and the severe shortage of medical personnel and supplies.
