As part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people, the mobile medical clinics of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued to provide their vital treatment services in Abs District, Hajjah Governorate, recording new numbers of beneficiaries during November 2025.

Accurate statistics on services provided

Field reports revealed that the clinics received 1,098 patients suffering from various medical conditions, providing them with the necessary medical care according to the highest standards. The Infectious Diseases Treatment and Control Clinic topped the list, receiving 550 patients, reflecting the pivotal role the center plays in combating epidemics and communicable diseases that threaten public health in the region.

The remaining treatment services were distributed as follows:

  • Emergency Clinic: Received (145) patients, who were provided with first aid and urgent interventions.
  • Internal Medicine Clinic: (328) patients benefited from it and received the appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Reproductive Health Clinic: Received one case.
  • The awareness and education clinic provided its services to (74) beneficiaries, within the framework of promoting preventive health awareness.

Support services and logistical support

The center's efforts extended beyond medical examinations to include a comprehensive system of support services. Two hundred and seventy-five (275) individuals benefited from nursing services, while twenty-four (24) patients visited the surgery and dressing clinic. Regarding medication support, prescriptions were dispensed to nine (934) individuals, ensuring that patients received their complete treatment free of charge. To guarantee a safe and healthy environment, nine (9) activities were implemented to dispose of medical waste using scientific methods.

These services come at a time when the health sector in Yemen is facing significant challenges due to the current circumstances. The Abs district in Hajjah Governorate is a densely populated area that hosts a large number of internally displaced persons, making these mobile clinics a lifeline for residents who struggle to reach distant central hospitals.

Since its establishment, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has prioritized the Yemeni crisis, implementing hundreds of health projects that have included supporting hospitals, providing medicines, and operating mobile clinics in remote areas. These projects aim to improve health indicators, combat malnutrition, and reduce the spread of epidemics, reflecting the Kingdom's humanitarian mission and its leading role in international relief efforts.
