The mobile medical clinics of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued to provide their vital services in Abs District, Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, where 663 people benefited from these services during the past month of January, as part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Yemeni people.

In this context, mobile clinics play a pivotal role in reaching the most vulnerable populations in remote and hard-to-reach areas, providing essential primary healthcare that is a lifeline for many and alleviating the pressure on overburdened central hospitals.

According to the monthly report, the medical services provided covered various vital specialties. The Infectious Diseases Treatment and Control Clinic received 327 patients, reflecting the importance of efforts to curb the spread of epidemics. The Emergency Clinic handled 98 cases, while the Internal Medicine Clinic saw 208 patients. In terms of awareness, 30 people benefited from the health education and awareness clinic.
The accompanying services included the following:
- Nursing services: 90 individuals benefited from them.
- Medication Dispensing: The necessary treatment was provided to 401 patients.
- Surgery and dressing: The service was provided to 11 cases.
- Waste disposal: 9 activities were carried out for the safe disposal of medical waste to maintain environmental health.
