The mobile medical clinic of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued to provide its treatment and health care services to beneficiaries in the Waalan camp for displaced persons in Haradh district of Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, as part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people as a result of the current humanitarian crisis.
According to official statistics issued by the center, a total of 71 beneficiaries visited the clinic between December 10 and 16, 2025, receiving various medical services. The cases were distributed across different departments. The infectious disease control clinic received 24 patients, a number that reflects the critical importance of epidemiological surveillance in displacement settings to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. The emergency clinic received 10 patients, the internal medicine clinic 21, the reproductive health clinic 3, and 13 people benefited from the health awareness and education department.
Regarding accompanying and support services, the nursing services department provided care to 58 patients, and necessary medications were dispensed to another 58 patients, while one patient visited the surgery and dressing clinic. To maintain a healthy environment within the camp, two activities were carried out to dispose of medical waste safely.
These services are part of the leading role played by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center since its establishment, which prioritizes the health sector in Yemen due to the extensive damage inflicted on the infrastructure of hospitals and health centers there. Mobile clinics are a strategic solution for reaching remote areas and displacement camps that lack established medical services, thus directly contributing to saving lives and reducing mortality and morbidity rates.
The continued operation of these clinics in Hajjah Governorate, which hosts a large number of displaced people, reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting the most vulnerable and needy groups. These efforts extend beyond direct treatment to include health awareness and preventative measures, strengthening the local community's resilience against epidemics and communicable diseases. This underscores the comprehensive humanitarian dimension of Saudi aid, which aims to achieve health security and social stability in affected areas.
