The Kingdom's leading role globally
These field operations embody the leading role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, which was established in 2015 under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The center aims to unify and organize Saudi relief efforts to ensure that aid reaches those who need it with the highest professionalism, free from any political or ethnic bias.
This aid is particularly important at present, given the worsening global food security crises and rising inflation rates, making relief intervention an urgent necessity to save lives and preserve human dignity. These efforts underscore the Kingdom's commitment to Vision 2030, which strengthens Saudi Arabia's position as a donor nation and an active player in the international community, always striving to extend bridges of goodwill and peace to all affected peoples.
