As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center yesterday to distribute urgent food aid in camps for displaced people in the central Gaza Strip. This initiative comes in response to the harsh living conditions faced by the residents of the Strip, and aims to provide food security for families who have lost their sources of income and been forced to flee their homes, living in tents amidst a severe shortage of basic resources.

This aid falls under the umbrella of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, launched by the Saudi leadership at the beginning of the crisis. According to the latest statistics issued by the center, an air bridge and a sea bridge have been established to ensure the flow of aid.
- Air bridge: 78 relief planes have arrived so far.
- Sea bridge: Arrival of 8 ships loaded with basic materials.
- Land convoys: 912 relief trucks carrying tons of food, medicine and shelter supplies crossed.
- Total cargo: The volume of aid transported via air and sea bridges exceeded 7,706 tons.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center did not limit itself to traditional methods of delivering aid, but rather worked to overcome field challenges and border closures through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. The center conducted airdrops of food aid in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to ensure that food reached besieged and severely affected areas.
In terms of medical and institutional support, the Kingdom delivered 20 fully equipped ambulances to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to bolster the capacity of the struggling health sector. The Center also signed joint cooperation agreements with international and UN organizations to implement relief projects within the Gaza Strip, totaling US$90.35 million , reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to organized institutional work to ensure the sustainability of relief efforts.
