Jeddah Municipality announces the issuance of 109,000 health certificates and the examination of 82,000 food samples in 2025 through the Ejadah program and the Baladi platform, to enhance food safety and raise the level of compliance.

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote public health and improve quality of life, the Jeddah Municipality its 2025 monitoring statistics, reflecting intensive activity in municipal and health oversight. The municipality announced the issuance and renewal of 109,637 health certificates , in addition to the testing of 82,092 food samples through its advanced laboratories department.

The municipality explained that the intensive inspection tours covered 11 sub-municipalities, aiming to increase compliance with municipal regulations. In order to facilitate services for beneficiaries and support the business sector, the municipality emphasized the role of digital transformation in expediting procedures. Establishments and their employees can easily issue and print health certificates through the "Baladi" platform . The platform allows for the electronic linking of medical examination results with the Ministry of Health, eliminating the need for in-person visits and saving time and effort. This reflects the significant development in the digital infrastructure of government services.

Continuation of field visits

The Jeddah Municipality concluded by emphasizing that the inspection teams will continue their field tours to ensure the application of all health standards, stressing that it will not tolerate violations of regulations and bylaws, in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the residents of Jeddah and its visitors, and to enhance confidence in the food services sector in the governorate.
