The event witnessed wide participation from educational leaders, parents, and students, transforming the occasion into a creative epic entitled "The Sky of Glory," which showcased the rich historical journey of education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over three centuries.

Founding Day: Historical Depth and Deep Roots

The celebration of Founding Day commemorates the historic establishment of the first Saudi state on February 22, 1727, by Imam Muhammad bin Saud, who made Diriyah its capital. This national occasion represents a pivotal turning point in the history of the Arabian Peninsula, laying the foundations for unity, security, and stability, and establishing a strong state that has continued to grow and develop through three historical phases, culminating in the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which continues its ambitious journey of construction and development.

Education: The engine of comprehensive development and a cornerstone of Vision 2030

In his address at the ceremony, Dr. Othman Musmali, Assistant for Educational Affairs in Jeddah, affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was founded on enduring values that have made human development and capacity building the cornerstone and primary driver of its comprehensive development. The epic “Sama Al-Majd”: Three artistic tableaux that tell the story of a nation

The theatrical epic “Sama Al-Majd,” presented by promising student talents, embodied the nation’s journey through three integrated artistic tableaux. The journey began with the era of Mani’ bin Rabi’ah and the founding of Diriyah, continued through the efforts of Imam Muhammad bin Saud in establishing the foundations of the first state, and culminated in our present flourishing reality under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, telling new generations the story of a nation built on glory and pride.
