Jarir Marketing Company, known for its Jarir Bookstore brand, announced the opening of its newest showroom in Al-Baha, further expanding its extensive branch network across Saudi Arabia. Located within the Al-Baha Square shopping complex, the new showroom represents a strategic addition for the company in the southern region, which is experiencing increasing commercial and investment activity.

According to an official statement issued by the company and published on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) website, this showroom is Jarir Bookstore's 66th branch within the Kingdom and its 77th overall, both inside and outside Saudi Arabia. The showroom spans a total area of 3,980 square meters and represents a capital investment of approximately 29 million Saudi Riyals. The new showroom features a wide range of Jarir products, catering to customers of all ages.

Jarir Bookstore is one of the most prominent success stories in the Saudi and Gulf retail sector. Founded in 1979 as a small bookstore in Riyadh, the company quickly transformed into a leading retailer offering a wide range of products, including books, office and school supplies, the latest electronics such as smartphones, laptops and accessories, as well as children's toys and educational materials. This diversity has made Jarir a one-stop shop for families, students, and professionals alike, solidifying its position as a trusted brand in the market.

The opening of the Al-Baha branch comes as part of Jarir's ambitious expansion strategy, which aims to reach the widest possible customer base across the Kingdom's cities and regions. This expansion is not limited to major cities but extends to promising cities like Al-Baha, directly aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to achieve balanced development in all regions and enhance the quality of life for residents by providing diverse retail and service options. The presence of a brand the size of Jarir in Al-Baha contributes to stimulating the city's economic activity and offers consumers a modern and comprehensive shopping experience.

The significance of this opening extends beyond the commercial aspect, impacting both the local economic and social spheres. The new showroom has created new job opportunities for local men and women, with Saudi employees comprising 60% of the total workforce, thus supporting Saudization efforts in the retail sector. Financially, the positive impact of this investment is expected to begin appearing in Jarir's results starting from the third quarter of this year, reflecting confidence in the branch's future performance and its ability to generate profitable returns.
