The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has claimed responsibility for launching military strikes targeting three oil tankers belonging to the United States and the United Kingdom in the waters of the Gulf, specifically near the Strait of Hormuz, according to a breaking news report by Al Arabiya channel, which relayed the details of the announcement.
In a related context regarding military operations, the Revolutionary Guard issued a statement commenting on these developments, confirming that the strikes it is carrying out in the region will not stop at this point, stressing that they will continue and will take a more extensive turn in the next stage.
Regarding internal statements in Tehran, the Iranian police chief addressed other aspects of the ongoing conflict, accusing what he described as the “occupation” of resorting to the use of artificial intelligence technologies, indicating that this use is mainly aimed at influencing people’s awareness and directing their thoughts in a way that serves the interests of the other side.
For his part, in the first Israeli reaction to these developments, the Israeli Foreign Minister stated that the existential threats to his country will remain, linking the disappearance of these threats to the disappearance of the Iranian regime, which reflects the continued state of tension and mutual escalation in the region.
