The Presidency of Religious Affairs is launching an integrated plan to serve female visitors to the Grand Mosque during Ramadan, which includes 24 initiatives to enhance the spiritual experience and empower women.

With the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, the Women's Affairs Agency at the Grand Mosque announced the launch of its comprehensive operational and enrichment plan, which aims to provide a unique and accessible spiritual experience for the millions of women who visit the Grand Mosque during this blessed month. The plan is based on six main pillars and includes 24 carefully designed initiatives to enhance the quality of religious and guidance services provided, in accordance with the sanctity of the place and the significance of the time.

This announcement comes in the context of the immense religious significance of Ramadan for Muslims worldwide, during which the Grand Mosque witnesses the arrival of millions of pilgrims and visitors. Historically, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has placed increasing emphasis on developing services for pilgrims. In recent years, these efforts have undergone a significant transformation, with a focus on tailoring services to meet the diverse needs of all visitors, including women, who constitute a large percentage of those visiting the Grand Mosque.

The ambitious plan aims to maximize the spiritual and intellectual impact on female visitors, disseminate sound religious and ethical awareness, and support and empower women through specialized enrichment and guidance programs. The six tracks cover all service and religious aspects, including: awareness and guidance, women's academic and guidance affairs, enrichment and volunteering, women's empowerment, public relations and institutional communication, and finally, development and quality to ensure continuous improvement.

These initiatives are of paramount importance both locally and internationally. Locally, this plan reflects the commitment of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques to empowering women in the religious and volunteer sectors and providing them with a safe and stimulating environment. Internationally, these advanced services send a positive message to millions of Muslim women worldwide, affirming that their experience in the holiest of places receives the utmost care and attention, thus reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a leading global religious destination and aligning with the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to enrich the experience of pilgrims.

The agency affirmed that this comprehensive plan comes as an extension of the tireless efforts exerted by the Presidency of Religious Affairs to enhance the scientific and guidance role of women, and to enrich the faith experience of female visitors to the Sacred House of God, in a way that ensures the achievement of a sustainable religious and cognitive impact during the blessed month of Ramadan, and contributes to their devotion to worship and obedience in an atmosphere of tranquility and reverence.
