The French government, through its spokesperson Maud Brégon, announced its readiness to evacuate citizens wishing to leave the Middle East when security conditions permit.

The French government announced on Sunday that it is ready to carry out evacuations of its citizens in the Middle East, noting that taking this step remains contingent on the availability of appropriate security and field conditions that allow for it.

French government spokesperson Maud Brégon confirmed that authorities in Paris are closely monitoring developments and are prepared to intervene to protect their citizens. This came in response to a question regarding the safety of French citizens in the region, during her appearance on a political program broadcast by local media.

“We are prepared to conduct evacuations for our citizens who wish to do so when the situation allows,” Brigon stated directly, stressing that the option is available to any citizen who wishes to leave, and that the government is waiting for the appropriate moment from a security standpoint to begin these procedures if necessary.

These official French statements come at a time of military escalation and rising tensions in the region. According to available information, the French position coincides with an exchange of military operations, with reports indicating attacks launched by the United States and Israel, met by retaliatory strikes from Tehran targeting various locations in the region.
