Prince Fahd bin Jalawi attended the graduation ceremony of 43 students from the Olympic Studies Diploma, in a step to enhance Saudi sports personnel according to best global practices.

In a significant step towards enhancing administrative capabilities in the Kingdom's sports sector, His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, President of the Saudi Olympic Academy, honored the graduates of the "Diploma in Olympic Studies" program on Wednesday. The ceremony, held at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh, was attended by a high-level international figure, Mr. Max Asmakopoulos, Director of the International Olympic Academy, which lends the program global significance and reflects the depth of the partnership between the two institutions.

An intensive program with international standards

The program saw the graduation of 43 students representing various sports bodies, federations, and sectors in the Kingdom, who successfully completed the diploma requirements. This ambitious program was delivered by a select group of experts, including 16 specialized international lecturers and 16 academic supervisors from both within and outside the Kingdom, ensuring the delivery of rigorous academic content and oversight of the final projects. The diploma comprised nine integrated study modules, totaling 120 training hours, focusing on key areas such as the principles and values ​​of the Olympic Movement, the foundations of modern sports management, standards of good governance, and Olympic education, in line with internationally recognized best practices.

Supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030

This diploma program is one of the key initiatives of the Saudi Olympic Academy, which plays a pivotal role in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 related to the sports sector.
