The Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued an official statement today announcing the execution of three citizens in the Eastern Province, after they were found guilty of committing serious terrorist crimes that threatened the security and stability of the country, including targeting security personnel and security headquarters and joining foreign terrorist organizations.

The ministry statement revealed the identities of the perpetrators: Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hussein Al Abu Abdullah, Musa bin Jaafar bin Abdullah Al Sakhman, and Reda bin Ali bin Mahdi Al Ammar, all of whom are Saudi nationals. They were convicted on multiple charges, including carrying weapons and directly firing upon security patrols, security personnel, and state facilities, which constitutes a blatant attack on state authority and public safety.
The investigations also proved their involvement in manufacturing explosives and possessing weapons and ammunition with the intention of using them in terrorist acts to disrupt public security, in addition to proving their affiliation with an external terrorist organization that aims to destabilize the Kingdom, which reflects the seriousness of the plans they were seeking to implement.
The judicial process and effective justice
The statement clarified that security authorities, thanks to intelligence and field efforts, were able to apprehend the accused earlier. Following the completion of investigations and the filing of charges against them, they were referred to the Specialized Criminal Court. The accused underwent a fair trial that went through all stages of litigation applicable in the Kingdom, whereupon a ruling was issued confirming the charges against them, and they were sentenced to death by way of discretionary punishment.
The ruling was upheld by both the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal decree was issued to enforce what was decided according to Sharia law, so that the ruling would be implemented on Wednesday, 11 Rajab 1447 AH, corresponding to December 31, 2025 AD, in the Eastern Province.

At the same time, the Ministry warned anyone who might be misled by deviant ideologies or participate in terrorist acts that they will inevitably face the deterrent legal punishment prescribed by Sharia.
