The complex commenced full operations at its new location on February 13th, with its emergency departments receiving urgent cases 24/7.

The Erada Complex, formerly known as Al Amal Hospital, is a cornerstone of the addiction treatment and mental health care system in Saudi Arabia. The name change from “Al Amal” (Hope) to “Erada” (Willpower) reflects a shift in the general approach to dealing with mental disorders and addiction, focusing on the patient's willpower and determination as an essential part of the recovery journey, thus contributing to breaking down the social stigma associated with mental illness.

The emergency departments at the new headquarters operate 24 hours a day to receive emergency cases, while outpatient clinics and support services are open to visitors from Sunday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
