The sports scene, particularly in the media, is witnessing a heated debate about which club is the most popular in the Kingdom's cities, with frequent comparisons being made between clubs boasting the largest fan bases. The discussion often centers on Riyadh's two giants, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, and Jeddah's two powerhouses, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad, to determine which club enjoys the strongest fan support when playing away matches. The 26th round of the Saudi Professional League presents a new test in this fan rivalry, as all four clubs play their matches away from home. On Friday, Al-Ittihad will face Al-Riyadh at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, while Al-Ahli will play Al-Qadisiyah at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium

The 26th round of the Saudi Professional League presents a new test for this popular challenge, as all four clubs play their matches away from home. On Friday, Al-Ittihad will face Al-Riyadh at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, while Al-Ahli will play Al-Qadisiyah at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

On Saturday, the two capital city giants will be heavy guests for the Eastern Province clubs, as league leader Al-Nasr faces host Al-Khaleej at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, in a match where Al-Khaleej is known for its ability to achieve remarkable results against big teams, the latest of which was stopping Al-Hilal’s historic winning streak last season when it beat them 3-2.

In another equally difficult encounter, Al-Hilal will be hosted by Al-Fateh in Al-Ahsa next Saturday at 10 pm, in a match in which the Blues look to continue their pursuit of the top spot, in a match expected to be very competitive.

The question remains: which of these clubs, which have the largest fan bases in the Kingdom, will have the upper hand in terms of popularity?
