As part of ongoing monitoring of operations at sports clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al-Qadisiyah Club, at its headquarters in Al-Khobar, received His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Sports, Mr. Bader bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi, on Wednesday. This important inspection visit aimed to gain firsthand insight into the latest developments concerning the club's infrastructure and implemented sports programs, according to the club's media center.

Dimensions of the visit and keeping pace with the sports transformation

The visit of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Sport to Al-Qadisiyah Club is of particular importance at this time, especially given the qualitative leap the Saudi sports sector is witnessing within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Al-Qadisiyah Club is a cornerstone of the investment and privatization project for sports clubs launched by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, with ownership of the club having been transferred to Saudi Aramco. The Deputy Minister's tour aims to ensure the alignment of the club's plans with the overall strategy for Saudi sports and to monitor the development of facilities and services provided to athletes, reflecting the Ministry's commitment to supporting clubs in fulfilling their leading role in developing talent and competing at the highest levels.

Al-Fursan's preparations for the Damac match

On the technical and field front, this high-level administrative visit coincides with intensive preparations underway by Al-Qadisiyah's first football team. The "Knights of the East" are gearing up to host Damac in a highly anticipated match scheduled for 4:00 PM next Saturday, as part of the eleventh round of the Saudi Professional League. The club's management and coaching staff are striving to provide all necessary support to the players to maintain the strong performances the team has delivered this season following its return to the top flight.

The two teams' positions in the standings

Al-Qadisiyah enters the match in a stable and impressive form, currently sitting fifth in the Roshan League standings with 17 points. They are aiming to secure all three points to move closer to the top four and compete for continental qualification. In contrast, Damac finds itself in a different situation, languishing in sixteenth place with only 5 points. This makes the match crucial for both sides; Al-Qadisiyah seeks to solidify its position among the elite, while Damac desperately tries to escape the relegation zone.
