This announcement covers a wide range of neighborhoods in the Riyadh, Qassim, and Eastern Province regions, with the Authority setting next Thursday, January 15th, as the final date for completing the registration procedures.

This measure is part of the Kingdom's accelerated efforts to regulate and digitize the real estate sector, in line with the goals of Vision 2030. The new real estate registration system represents a significant shift from the traditional "deeds" system, based on personal names, to a system that relies on a "property registry" that accurately describes the property unit, eliminating ambiguity. This historic move aims to enhance transparency in the real estate market, protect property rights, and reduce real estate disputes that previously burdened the courts due to overlapping deeds or inaccurate descriptions.

Areas and neighborhoods covered by the deadline

The authority clarified the details of the neighborhoods where the registration deadline will expire, and called on owners in the following areas to act quickly:

1. Riyadh Region

The deadline covers multiple governorates. In Al-Quway'iyah Governorate registration ends in neighborhoods and developments such as: (Development 1077, Industrial Area, Al-Zuhur, Al-Awash, and others). In Al-Rayn Governorate , the list includes neighborhoods such as: (Ashirah, Al-Mathnah, Al-Rifa', King Faisal, Al-Yarmouk, and others). In Al-Majma'ah Governorate , it includes: (Al-Iskan, Airport, King Abdullah, and others). In Al-Aflaj Governorate , the list includes neighborhoods such as: (Al-Izdihar, Al-Andalus, King Abdullah, Al-Faisaliyah, and others). Al-Ghat Governorate neighborhoods such as: (Al-Arnah, Al-Ghadir, Al-Khuzama, and others).

2. Al-Qassim region

In the city of Buraidah , registration ends in parts of the following neighborhoods: (West Buraidah, Al-Aziziyah, Al-Bustan, Al-Aqiq, Al-Ghammas, Al-Basr, and others). The deadline also includes areas in Unaizah (Al-Nour neighborhood), and the centers of Qasr Ibn Aqil , Al-Badai , Al-Bukairiyah , Riyadh Al-Khabra , and Ar-Rass .

3. Eastern Region

The list includes large neighborhoods in Hafr Al-Batin such as: (Al-Rawdah, Al-Fayha, Al-Sina'iyah, Al-Wurud, Al-Muhammadiyah). In Jubail Industrial City, it includes: (Al-Dafi, Al-Fanatir, Jalmudah, Al-Shati). In Al-Ahsa Governorate, it includes neighborhoods and villages such as: (Al-Rifa'ah Al-Shamaliyah, Al-Kut, Al-Mazawi, and various agricultural and residential developments). The deadline also extends to neighborhoods in Buqayq , Al-Nu'ayriyah , Al-Khafji , and Qatif , as well as urban areas in Dammam and Ras Tanura .

The Authority reiterated its call for property owners to utilize the digital "Real Estate Registry" platform to complete their registration procedures before the deadline. It noted that the system will issue a property number and a title deed containing the precise geographical location and complete data. The Authority also warned that failure to register within the announced period will subject owners to financial penalties determined by a specialized committee in accordance with the Real Estate Registration Law. It confirmed that applications will continue to be accepted even after the deadline, but the standard procedures will still be applied.
