Jeddah witnessed a ceremony honoring the Support Association for the Sita Bint Abdulaziz Endowment and the signing of the 2026 projects agreement, in the presence of a number of princes, to enhance the empowerment of beneficiary families and achieve stability.

In a move reflecting the deep integration among non-profit organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in celebration of models of sustainable giving, the “Daam” Association for the Care of Divorced Women, Widows, and Their Children honored the Seeta bint Abdulaziz Endowment in recognition of its pivotal and pioneering role in supporting the association's journey since its establishment. This took place during the association's annual ceremony held on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Jeddah, in the presence of a distinguished group of royals and leaders in social work.

This recognition comes in the context of the great movement witnessed by the third sector in the Kingdom, where efforts are combined to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which pays great attention to empowering the most needy groups, and transforming charitable work from mere direct care to sustainable development that ensures the material and social stability of families.

High-level presence and strategic partnership

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Her Highness Princess Noura bint Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Seeta bint Abdulaziz Endowment, and Her Highness Princess Jawahir bint Turki bin Abdullah bin Saud Al Kabeer, Chair of the Endowment's Programs and Activities Committee. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a member of the Endowment's Advisory Council, also graced the event, reflecting the significant attention given by community leaders to supporting programs that empower women and families.

The ceremony included the signing of a strategic agreement to support the association’s projects for 2026, a step aimed at expanding the scope of services provided to beneficiaries, and ensuring the continuity of quality programs that move families from the circle of need to the horizons of production and self-reliance.

Social impact that goes beyond numbers

In a speech delivered on behalf of the endowment, Her Royal Highness Princess Jawahir bint Turki bin Abdullah emphasized that the partnership with the “Daam” Association is not merely about funding charitable projects, but rather about building new life paths. Her Highness explained that the fruits of this collaboration were evident in restoring peace of mind to more than 3,500 beneficiaries during the past year, thus contributing to achieving family stability and preserving the dignity of housing.

Her Highness noted that this approach is inspired by the vision of the late Princess Seeta bint Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on her, who was known for her generosity and her commitment to giving that makes a real difference in people's lives. This model of partnership between endowments and specialized field associations is a cornerstone of successful social work, ensuring that resources are directed with high efficiency to achieve a tangible and sustainable impact.

A future vision for 2026

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Seeta bint Abdulaziz Endowment, Professor Khalid Mohammed Zahran, explained that renewing the partnership for 2026 reflects the endowment's commitment to supporting ambitious development initiatives. He emphasized that the new agreement will focus on strengthening economic and social empowerment programs, in line with economic changes and the needs of beneficiary families.

This agreement is expected to contribute to a qualitative shift in the services of the “Support” Association, not only at the level of the city of Jeddah, but as a model to be emulated in institutional charitable work at the level of the Kingdom, which enhances the cohesion and solidarity of society, and achieves social security for the precious groups of divorced women, widows and their children.
