It has been officially confirmed that Brazilian professional Carlos Junior will miss Al-Shabab's upcoming match against Al-Ettifaq. His absence is due to an abdominal muscle injury, preventing him from participating in the anticipated Saudi Professional League fixture.
According to information regarding the player's medical condition, Junior is expected to be sidelined until the end of March. This injury necessitates a period of treatment and rehabilitation, confirming his exclusion from the coaching staff's plans for the upcoming match.
The 30-year-old has a strong record with the team this season, having made 19 appearances for Al-Shabab. During those appearances, Junior scored four goals and provided one assist, making him a key player for the team in their previous matches.
Al-Shabab are scheduled to visit Al-Ettifaq next Saturday for their 25th league match. Kick-off is at 10:00 PM, and both teams will be looking for a positive result.
The two teams enter the match in contrasting positions in the league standings. Al-Shabab sits in 13th place with 25 points, while Al-Ettifaq is in 7th place with 38 points, highlighting the significant point difference between the two sides before this round of matches.
