Rodgers added, during his speech at the pre-match press conference held on Wednesday: “We respect all opponents, whether it’s Al Ahly or any other team, and we will continue our work and attack them as in the rest of the matches.”.
The Al-Qadisiyah coach continued: “Everyone is fully prepared, and we have two important training sessions that we haven’t done yet. We have several decisive sources, and the responsibility is not limited to the strikers only.”.
The Irish coach concluded his remarks by saying: “When you attack, you have to protect the spaces behind the ball, and we have to cover the spaces. If you don’t do that against any opponent, you will pay the price. We look forward to creating problems for the opponent, but you can’t say that you will win 100%.”.
Al-Qadisiyah team is scheduled to host Al-Ahli at 10 pm next Friday as part of the (26) round of the Roshan League, the Flag Day round.
Before the match, Al-Qadisiyah team occupies the fourth position in the Roshan League standings with (57) points, while Al-Ahli team occupies the second position with (62) points.
