The Governor of Al-Baha directs the formation of an urgent committee under his direct supervision to host stranded citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Baha Region, has directed the formation of an urgent committee to oversee the implementation of directives issued by the wise leadership regarding the accommodation of stranded citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries at the Kingdom's airports. This administrative action in the region comes in implementation of the royal decree, and the committee will operate under the direct supervision of His Highness the Governor and His Highness the Deputy Governor to ensure that procedures proceed as expected.

In his directives to the relevant authorities, His Royal Highness the Prince of Al-Baha stressed the importance of a swift response and the immediate implementation of all necessary measures to address the situation of the Gulf nationals currently residing in the region. The instructions included the necessity of providing them with all their basic needs and requirements, and ensuring their comfort and stability during their stay, until the reasons preventing their travel are resolved and suitable conditions are in place to allow their safe and healthy return to their home countries.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, had issued his gracious approval and directives to all relevant sectors to host all citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries stranded in the Kingdom's airports. The royal directive stipulated the necessity of preparing all necessary procedures to host and treat them with respect, and to dedicate all resources to serving them, ensuring their comfort and peace of mind among their families in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is considered their second home.

The royal directive also mandated that the relevant authorities take immediate action to implement this hosting, overcome all difficulties that may face those stranded, and secure their requirements until they leave Saudi territory and return to their homelands with dignity and honor, in a step that reflects the leadership’s keenness to care for the Gulf brothers and ensure their safety in all circumstances.
