Alfaisal University in Riyadh announced the launch of the 14th annual Career Days exhibition, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al Saud, Secretary General of the King Faisal Foundation and Chairman of the University's Executive Committee. The three-day event will run from January 27th to 29th and is expected to draw a large number of leading local and international companies and organizations.
Strategic alignment with the Kingdom's Vision 2030
This edition of “Career Days” is of particular importance given its coincidence with the rapid economic activity witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as the event comes as a practical response to the objectives of the “Human Capability Development Program”, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Through this event, the university seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical academic outputs and the actual, evolving needs of the labor market, especially in promising sectors that are witnessing significant growth, such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and advanced healthcare.
Promising figures and opportunities in the current edition
In this year's edition, the university revealed that it is offering over 400 immediate job opportunities, in addition to 100 cooperative training opportunities, reflecting the high level of trust employers place in Alfaisal University students and graduates. This year's exhibition features approximately 30 leading partners and sponsors representing 13 vital sectors, including engineering, logistics, financial consulting, and digital transformation, providing visitors with a wide range of career options.
A historic journey of achievement and empowerment
This event is not just a fleeting job fair; it is the culmination of a journey that began in 2011. Over the years, Alfaisal University has successfully built a comprehensive national employment system, contributing to the provision of more than 10,000 job and training opportunities. The university has also established a reliable strategic network of over 980 employers, making its graduates among the most sought-after in the Saudi and regional job markets.
Professional clinics: Rehabilitation that goes beyond employment
Believing that employment begins with proper training, the events include what are known as “career clinics.” These are dedicated spaces where human resources experts offer one-on-one mentoring sessions and mock interviews, designed to hone students’ soft skills and teach them how to write effective resumes and succeed in job interviews. This comprehensive approach aims to “build career paths” for young men and women, not just provide temporary employment, thus promoting sustainable employment and supporting the national economy with qualified individuals ready to lead and innovate.
