Al-Nasr’s five goals were scored by Abdullah Al-Hamdan (30), Ayman Yahya (54), Portuguese Joao Felix (73 and 79), and Brazilian Angelo Gabriel (90+1).
Al-Nasr raised its tally to 67 points at the top of the standings, while Al-Khaleej remained at its previous tally of 30 points and dropped to eleventh place.

Al-Khaleej launched an attack at the start of the second half, and had a chance to equalize, but Pinto made a brilliant save from Masouras' header, ending the danger (47). From a coordinated attack, Al-Nasr strengthened their lead with a second goal when Ayman Yahya followed up a rebound from the goalkeeper and sent a rocket into the goal (54). Yahya almost scored a third goal for his team, but for the brilliance of Maurice, who blocked the ball with his foot and turned it into a corner (56). Al-Nasr wasted another chance when Felix received a ball inside the penalty area and played it towards the goal, but Maurice made a brilliant save (67).
