Learn the details of Al-Ahli player Ayman Fallatah's loan to NEOM FC until the end of the season. A look at the player's career and the importance of the deal to NEOM's sports project.

Al-Ahli Saudi Club officially announced on Tuesday the loan of its young player Ayman Falatah to the ranks of Neom Club, in a deal that extends until the end of the current 2025/2026 season, as part of the management of “Al-Raqi” seeking to give the player a greater opportunity to participate and gain field experience.

Details of the deal and Flata's career

This decision comes after a technical review of the future of the 22-year-old player, who was promoted to Al-Ahli's first team for the 2023/2024 season. Falatah has a good track record from his previous loan spell last season with Damac FC, where he proved his worth in midfield.

During his time with Damac, the young midfielder participated in 26 matches, scoring one goal and showcasing his talent. Despite returning to Al-Ahli, he has not had the opportunity to play in any official matches this season due to the fierce competition for places in the midfield, which is teeming with local and foreign stars in the Jeddah-based team's squad.

Event context: Al-Ahli's strategy and the ambitious NEOM project

This move is part of Al Ahly's investment and technical strategy, which aims to prevent young talents from being sidelined. With world-class players already established in Al Ahly's midfield, it becomes difficult for up-and-coming players to secure enough playing time to ensure their development. Therefore, loaning them out is the ideal option to maintain their match fitness and prepare them to return as key players in the future.

On the other hand, Falatah's move to NEOM FC represents a significant step in his career, given the ambitious sporting project the club is undertaking. NEOM is experiencing considerable sporting activity and has strengthened its squad with prominent players, making it an ideal competitive environment for a young player looking to prove himself and contribute to the club's ambitious goals of rising to prominence and competing strongly in the Saudi sports arena.

The two teams' positions in the standings

In terms of competition, Al-Ahli enters this period in fourth place in the Roshan Professional League standings with 28 points, aiming to improve their position and compete for the title. Meanwhile, Neom sits in ninth place with 20 points and hopes that the signing of Ayman Fallatah will provide a significant boost to their midfield, helping them climb the standings and achieve positive results in the upcoming rounds.
