Strategic location and of paramount importance

The Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Haram Medical Centers are of exceptional importance due to their geographical location adjacent to the courtyards of the Grand Mosque. The hospital serves as the first line of healthcare for pilgrims and worshippers. These facilities play a vital role in handling emergencies that may occur during the Hajj rituals, requiring an immediate response and qualified personnel capable of managing various medical conditions amidst the high population density.

These centers operate as part of a harmonious system aimed at providing a safe and healthy environment for visitors to the Grand Mosque, where cases are triaged on the ground within the corridors of the Grand Mosque through emergency centers, and then cases that require advanced medical intervention are transferred to Ajyad Hospital or the Haram Hospital at record speed.

Healthcare that aligns with the Kingdom's vision

These advanced services are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to serving pilgrims, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Service Program, which prioritizes the health and safety of Umrah and Hajj pilgrims. The Makkah Health Cluster continuously strives to develop its healthcare infrastructure, utilize the latest medical technologies, and enhance the skills of its personnel to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience.

The group confirmed that the pre-prepared operational plans take into account peak seasons and visitor flows, ensuring the continuity of work at full capacity around the clock, and the application of all preventive and therapeutic protocols approved by the Ministry of Health to ensure everyone’s safety.
